When Scorpio is $999, this is a serious contender

Scorpio was announced as the successor to the company’s previous flagship, the $1,000-and-up iPhone 8.

It also includes a host of software updates that help improve battery life and reduce the number of times you have to reboot the phone.

But for the majority of people, the biggest change for 2017 is the price.

For $999 (roughly £749), the phone comes with a Snapdragon 835 processor, a 12-megapixel rear camera, and 3GB of RAM, which is significantly more than the iPhone 8’s 4GB of memory and 256GB of storage.

The price also includes the standard 16GB of internal storage, as well as a microSD card slot.

Scorpio starts at $999 and is expected to launch sometime in the second half of 2017.
